Night 74: M-B Block Hallway
[From here.]
The darkness of the halls at night did little to hide how bleak and run down everything looked, rust and peeling paint catching the light from his lamp, a stark contrast to the way things looked in the day. Lloyd ignored it, already used to the way things seemed to change at night. Instead, he focused on softening his footsteps as he approached the end of the hall. He'd yet to run into anything this close to the rooms they slept in, but he knew better than to think he was safe.
Nothing happened as he reached the end of the hall, though, so cautiously he stepped through the door.

As Anise entered the men's block, she was suddenly struck with worry. Whenever they blacked out at the end of night, someone had to bring them back to their rooms, right? Wouldn't the device Claude was carrying be discovered? Landel had to be suspicious by now... Could they really sneak something so important past him?
She wouldn't know if they were in the clear or not until she saw for herself, so for now, all Anise could do was make her way to Claude's room, and hope he hadn't been moved during their absence from the institute. As she passed by the other halls, she peeked down each one, but saw no sign of any of her friends. With any luck, they'd be in the farthest hall, where Claude's room was supposed to be.
