Night 69: Main Hallway, 2-Center
[From here.]
As they moved further down the hall, Castiel caught sight of the chapel to the left. It had been some time since he'd traversed there and he had no reason to now, but he hadn't forgotten that specter of Jimmy Novak that he'd run into in that place. He'd also encountered Aigis while she was brainwashed somewhere in this area. It wasn't a place he had much fondness for, but he wasn't fond of Landel's in general.
No reason to comment on it, then. There was something else he was more curious about, and so he looked over his shoulder at Soushi for a brief moment.
"You mentioned you were with some others when you encountered that ghost. Was one of them called Gabriel?" Castiel had no particular reason to keep tabs on the other angel, but he felt it was prudent to do so anyway. Gabriel seemed to be a good soul, someone he didn't need to be suspicious of, but this wasn't suspicion in the first place. He was both baffled and intrigued by Gabriel; while they were both angels, he felt like they were about as different from each other as they could be.

"That is unfortunate," he shook his head as Castiel took the lead. His pace was slow, but determined, and Soushi had no problem keeping up. He tried to split his attention between the conversation and any sudden sounds or sights of an enemy as they continued.
It wasn't until Castiel mentioned Gabriel that his steps paused a moment. Really, just how close a watch was he under? Not only did Lingormr report to this man, but nearly every patient he'd met! Was there some sort of information network he was unaware of?
"Mm. That's correct. I met Gabriel-san as I was heading out for the evening. Is he a friend of yours Castiel-san?"

"An acquaintance, yes. I spoke to him earlier in the day and we commiserated over being haunted by that ghost. That's why I suspected that the two of you might have been traveling together last night." Nothing more than a simple guess. Castiel wondered what Gabriel's impression of Soushi was -- it was something he could ask the other angel about the next time he saw him.
For now, though, they had a task to complete. Castiel knew that the room with their possessions, faked though they might be, was on the other end of the second floor, and so he kept moving at his slowed pace, using the wall to support him when need be.
