Scar cautiously opened the door into the northern section of the hallway, remaining sure to keep Alphonse close. He had been up this way before. Frank's room had been down here.

Perhaps it was out of some misplaced sentiment that he kept an look out for him.

"Well, at least you have something to help protect you?" Alphonse offered with a hesitant smile, eyes sweeping up and down the hall before he went to the door to the next block. There wasn't a reason to linger, after all.
