Night 69: M51-60
Fai had finished his dinner in relative silence. He had been thinking about the events of the day and the fact that he had yet another long night ahead of him. He had determined that he should do some exploring but as the doctor's voice came over the loud speaker, something had caught his attention. The third floor..he wondered if that was the place that Kurogane had been trying to take him when he had first arrived. Things had been a little strange then and they never seemed to end up where they were supposed to.
Standing up, Fai set his dinner plates aside and headed out into the hall. He looked around for a moment, finding that things were fairly quiet still. It seemed he was a little early in heading out. He wondered who he might run into while out tonight. He hadn't met a lot of people on this world yet, but the few he had were certainly interesting.
Starting down the hallway, Fai briefly wondered if he should stop by Kurogane's room before continuing. The other had said he would check up on him. That thought made Fai pause. He had promised to wait for Kurogane to check up on him before venturing out each night, but certainly the ninja wouldn't care if Fai met him half way or even made it to the room before Kurogane left.
With a smile on his face, Fai continued down the hall. He put his hands behind his head as he took his time. No sense in rushing since he did have all the time in the world to get there. And with no destination really in mind, Fai wouldn't have to worry about being late.

Finally, the proper hallway. Scar rapped his knuckles against the door labeled '58' and stood back to wait for the older Elric. They definitely hadn't passed him in the hallways, so he was hopefully still in.
There was no way he was going anywhere without his brother.

After the light went out, he flopped down on his bed to wait for his brother to show up. When he heard the knock, he swung his legs over the edge of the bed, grabbed his flashlight, and went over to the door.
Upon opening it, he came face to lower chest with Scar. He blinked and looked up rather higher than he expected to need to. "Hi. I see you've found me."

"I'm coming with you tonight. Do either of you know anything about the third floor?" He brought it up now that the two of them were together. It was strange... This was the first time he'd seen them together like this, outside of some urgent situation.

He then moved a bit closer to Al before answering Scar. "The announcement was the first I've heard of it. I take it that trying to get to it has become what we're doing tonight?"

"I'm going there if you two plan on it as well. I'd like to know something more about this, though." He wished he had known about this sooner. He could have spoken with someone about it long before now. Scar would have tracked down one of his better-informed allies, but he didn't know whose room was where.

Then he looked up at Scar. "So much for asking if you knew anything about this."

"Either way we should get moving. It's useless standing here." And potentially dangerous.

And she had that awful habit of popping up wherever he went.
Scar started down the hallway toward the more main areas once again. If Lust wanted to, she would turn up. It was inevitable.
