Night 69: M-A Block Hallway
[From here]
Link made his way briskly toward the main hallway and the meeting point with his allies. They had begun work in the basement, and they would continue it, yes. But the thought of breaching the third floor was tempting, oh so tempting.
He needed to focus on the task at hand. There was much to be seen in the dungeons of Landel's, and he planned on exploring it thoroughly. It was in the darkest corners that the greatest secrets were always held.

As Castiel's and Soushi's rooms were both in the same block, this hallway would have worked as a meeting spot. But it would be just as simple for them to meet in the next hall, and in Castiel's experience it was more useful to meet up further away from the rooms. Monsters were more likely to attack a group of two or three, rather than someone wandering around alone.
Which didn't make much sense from a tactical point of view, but these monsters clearly didn't have any higher intelligence. To them, a larger group meant more food.
Castiel checked first that Soushi wasn't already heading down the hall toward him, but when he didn't catch sight of him he exited the block into the next corridor.

Scar made his way farther into the halls and made sure Alphonse was still in tow. He was especially on guard. This was where he had been killed only two nights ago.
Why the hell were the monsters coming so close?

He stepped forward to lead the way, opening the door to the hallway.

Soushi hurried to the hall, which already flickered with the occasional beam of light. It was enough to get a feel for where he was going, and he though he hesitated long enough to glance down the other halls as he went, he didn't see Castiel.
Not in this hall, had he left yet? Or was he already waiting in the next? Given that only two nights before, he'd come across a mutilated corpse only minutes after leaving his room, he knew that the time patients were able to exit their rooms seemed to fluctuate. Hopefully he wasn't making Castiel wait on him too terribly long. Standing about in the halls where dangers lurked seemed a poor idea.

Lloyd's room was M44, which, unfortunately, was a tad far from his own room: it meant more time alone with only his thoughts. Kratos briskly turned the corner and walked down the hall, trying not to think too hard about all the things that could possibly go wrong tonight. He had no doubt that he wasn't fully prepared for whatever lay beyond that book in the library, but it was now or never: he would only be able to hold Lloyd's interest for so long, and he couldn't exactly think of anything else to do with himself for a whole night other than stay in, which was unacceptable.
He would just have to see what would happen and hope that it wouldn't be worse than what he'd been put through over the past week.

The dark hallway was empty of any life. Thankfully, it was also clean of any maulings; though it had happened two nights ago, the Once-ler still picked up his pace through the area.

Would Zero be waiting for him in the usual place, X wondered?
X hoped not. Running around by himself in his condition was tantamount to suicide.
Says the one who punched a mirror on his first day here.
With the shake of his head, X pushed these thoughts out, pushing himself onward.
