Day 69: Female Showers

A shower! Ilia felt so thankful that today was a shower day. After several nights of nothing but sleep, he needed to wash off the stench of failure so she could start fresh. Of course, tonight wasn't going to be much of an adventure, but everyone here really could use a drink. Ilia included.

She took her time in the shower but didn't allow herself to get pruney. She still had things to do, after all! After a quick brush through her hair, she left feeling refreshed as she headed to the Sun Room.

Nina had always found some excuse to skip out on previous shower days, but she was beginning to realize she couldn't keep doing that. The nurses were probably beginning to suspect that she was coming up with excuses, or at least Nina suspected they were.

Besides, it might be nice to get clean. Nina was grateful for that much. But she still felt strangely vulnerable in this situation, so she carefully kept to herself and showered as quickly as she could while still cleaning herself thoroughly.
