Day 65: Sun Room (Fourth Shift)

[From here]

Once again, he was dumped out into this spacious room that was pretty, sure, but wholly unfun. He stared up through the glass ceiling above them, soaking up the rays of sun that seemed like he would never be able to bask in freely again.

Three meals a day and some entertainment at night was enjoyable enough, but he was starting to get bored with this routine. Spontaneity was the spice of life and Goku was starting to feel suffocated by this constant rhythm. The little boy may only have room for a few goals at a time in his head, but they were just as important as everyone else's, even more so in some cases! He needed to reclaim his grandpa's treasure and continue his training! The witches in white just couldn't understand this, girls as they were.

Huffing, the young boy set out to look for one of his furry companions for any new information on the secrets of the institute. He got down on all fours and began crawling around the couches, looking here and there for any signs of his accomplices.

[For Taura~!]

In a normal situation on a normal day, a day before he'd left his home to help regenerate the world, Lloyd would have been enthusiastic about going to Arts and Crafts. Today the young man was having none of it.

"Look, I don't want to go to school! I want to see the doctor!" He irritably tried to jerk away from the nurse who had been leading him to Arts and Crafts.

"The doctor has a busy schedule, Nigel," the nurse said soothingly, using the same tone a parent uses with an unruly child. Lloyd hated that tone of voice. It drove him up a wall. "I'm sure he'll see you soon. Just be a little more patient. Now why don't you come and see what-"

"My name's not Nigel," Lloyd cut him off. "It's Lloyd. And I told you, I don't want to do Arts and Crafts." This time he managed to break the nurse's grip, though he got the feeling the nurse had stopped trying. He didn't care. It made him feel better.

With a long suffering sigh, the nurse just folded his arms. "If that's how you really feel, a little time here in the Sun Room might help you feel better."

Lloyd wasn't so sure about that, but at least it was something. After talking to Kyousuke, there was no way he could settle down to something as mundane as Arts and Crafts. He still needed to know more, but the nurse wasn't letting him go where he wanted to go. Feeling restricted, he stormed away from the man, determined to at least explore this room. There was a bulletin on one of the walls with lots of papers stuck to it. Curious, and with nothing better to do, Lloyd went up to find out what kinds of things people were pinning to the wall.
