Day 63: Bath and Beauty Shop (Morning)

It looked like there was no denying that Anise’s rash was what the Head Doctor was talking about earlier. As Anise exited the bus, her eyes wandered to the hands of the patients she passed by, looking to see if she could find others with the same affliction. Her own rash was kept mostly concealed by her oversized coat sleeves.

As she wandered down the street, she noticed a shop advertising beauty products, and ducked inside. While she had long sleeves today and gloves at night, chances were that she wasn’t always going to be able to hide the rash under her clothes. If the Head Doctor succeeded in getting the patients to turn on each other… she needed to keep her illness a secret. At least from most people.

The girl made her way over to an aisle displaying makeup, and quickly located the concealer. There were a lot of types and shades, and some of it was actually pretty cheap. It looked like makeup was something else Earth had Auldrant beat for.

Anise picked up a few testers and tried a streak of each on her good hand, checking to see which matched her skin tone the best.
