Nightshift 61: F21-F30 Hallway
So Landel had not done away with all of the General's policies. Perhaps they had come to some agreement the night before Landel's reinstatement as Head Doctor. Or was he just stealing a few ideas from their temporary captor to use for his own nefarious plots? Either was possible, but whatever the reason it spelled out no goodwill for the incarcerated.
Aigis put the man's words out of her mind. No doubt he was just attempting to bait her into incoherent rage. She was more controlled than that, however. Besides, she had a few friends she had planned to meet. One for a healing and another for a supply run. She didn't have time to keep either waiting.
Grabbing her things, Aigis slipped out of her room and out into the dark corridor, traveling the familiar walkways with practiced ease.

Good, it's here... she sighed when finished, pushing her journal far back into the desk drawer. If someone happened to read some of the stuff she put in it... well, it wasn't as though they knew who Shinra was, but she could only think of how embarrassing it would be regardless!
Her items accounted for, she went out into the hallway and headed right, since each hall always went that way no matter which one she was residing in.

The last time she'd been moved was because her roommate had gone missing. Ruby had seemed to be pretty strong, so having someone like her missing made Donna feel somewhat upset. She might not have gotten to know the woman quite as well as Meche, but that didn't make her a stranger either. And, Donna knew, she'd had friends there. That giant of a guy she'd met upstairs once. Sam or something?
Frowning, Donna doubled back into her room and snatched up her journal and a pen before heading right back out and down the hallway. There wasn't much she could do when this stuff happened, but she could do something at least.

The mention of four people, however.... Maya frowned. She had no idea. Another scare tactic? She didn't know enough to say for sure.
Never mind. At the very least, she should make some headway at night. That in mind, Maya flicked on the flashlight and went on her way.

F21
He should have known F21 would be down the very end of the hall. He thought he might have entered the wrong hallway!
Gumshoe stopped short of barging into the person's room without knocking. Instead, he gave the door three firm knocks before opening it slightly and announcing himself. "Hello? My name's Detective Dick Gumshoe, ma'am. I'm the guy you wrote to on the bulletin board yesterday. The one asking about fingerprint powder."

His face fell. He scratched his head. "Did I get the wrong room number?" he muttered to himself. Bewildered by the silence, he let himself in and shone the flashlight around. "Huh? There's nobody here." He looked a little hurt as he closed the door behind him and stepped further into the room. Maybe they'd left to run an errand? In that case, it was better that he left the door open. So she didn't get a shock when she found him in here.
"...!" The detective jumped and bumped into a desk when he suddenly noticed he wasn't alone. There was a girl in one of the beds! Looked like she was asleep.
Wait, so was she the person he was meant to meet? He moved the beam of his flashlight over the girl's face to see if he recognized her.
He flinched again and drew back, gaping. Ema Skye!?
...He was such an idiot. Out of all the people who could have offered to help him out, it ended up being the person he'd been trying to hide it from! Who else would volunteer to help him do something like this? It should have been obvious!
He looked away from her and gave the wall a hard frown. She hadn't stirred at all during the time he'd been standing here. He didn't want to be the one who woke her up. She could be having a nice dream.
